About Us
We’re Todd and Lori Galloway, a husband-and-wife team who traded the hustle of Southern California for a slower, more intentional life in rural (kinda, at least for now) Texas. As we approached our 50s, we realized our health—and our future—depended on making better choices. Years of working in the senior care industry showed me firsthand how diet and lifestyle impact quality of life, and I knew we had to start now to live well later.
Todd is a man rooted deep in integrity, with a steadfast love for God. He’s a Marine veteran, an Alaskan Eyak Indian, a dad of two, stepdad of four, and lovingly known as “Grampy Cakes” to our growing crew of grandbabies. I love Jesus, am a grateful mom of four, stepmom of two, wife, daughter, and “Mimi” to those same sweet grandbabies. Together, family is at the heart of everything we do.
On our 1.5-acre homestead, we began growing fruits and vegetables, raising chickens, and making nearly everything from scratch. We cut out processed foods, switched to mostly organic ingredients, and embraced old-fashioned, wholesome cooking. The difference in how we felt was undeniable.
From that journey, Old Fashioned Living was born—a return to what matters: God, family, and pure, honest food. Our handcrafted organic blends, mixes, and fresh-milled grains are made without preservatives, fillers, or artificial additives. From bold seasonings and hearty bouillons to sweet dessert mixes, breakfast favorites, and flavored creamers, every product is crafted with integrity to make healthy, from-scratch cooking easier for your kitchen.
